Happy 4th of July!!!

I had a great time being with my cute little family all weekend long in Island Park. Instead of fishing, Jake hung out with us girls ALL day long everyday. I didn't expect him to, he just did it. Thanks Jake, we love having you with us!

The Cabin

The cabin was a lot of fun this year, especially since Bailee is getting older and can have fun running around and playing with the dog. Uncle Cam was sure a big help with the girls...they love him. Look at how similar Cam and Bailee are. And that picture of Sadie is to die for. She will always smile for me when I am taking her picture. And unfortunately, the girls didn't get to see firecrackers this year, they were way too worn out to stay up and watch. There is always next year. The funny thing is that Jake says to me "Do you think Bailee will remember that she didn't get to see fireworks this year?"

Mesa Falls

For a little family outing, we went to see a waterfall. The girls loved it. Of course Bailee got a lot of attention because of her crazy personality. She was sitting on the stairs saying cheese for the camera while all these people watched. She is definitely in that show off stage!

Best Buds!

Ok, so these two love to be together. The great thing is that Bridger is such a good, kid friendly dog. But our last morning at the cabin turned out scary for a moment. We were trying to load of our vehicle so that we could leave at good time. At first it was just our little family getting ready to go, so I was watching Sadie, and Jake was watching Bailee. Soon everyone walked over from the other cabin to help out and say goodbye. There were so many adults, we all thought the other person was watching little Bai. After a while, Aunt Megan asked who was watching Bai. We all looked at each other in panic. The scary thing is that the cabins are obviously in the forest, and the river is right behind them. So the freak out that I am, I started running and screaming for Bailee. I kept telling myself to not cry yet. I can't tell you the feeling that I had. It was probably one of the worst feelings I have felt being a mother. Not too long later, Jake had found Bailee. Being the good Dad that he is, he had a feeling of where she might have been considering he has taken her out on walks. Her and Bridger had wondered off together. The scary thing, is that they were far away from the cabin, I can't believe how far she had walked. I was so happy to see her and relieved she did not get lost. It just shows how fast your children can wonder off. I will NEVER let something like that happen again!!!

Jake

Jake will be embarrassed that I am writing about him, but thats ok. He didn't really get to spend his father's day at home yesterday. Back to New York again! I just want to say that he is such a wonderful person. He is such a loving, giving, and fun Dad. I don't know what we would do without him. We love you!

Beautiful Bailee at 22 months!

This girl definitely has some personality! She can say whatever you want her to say. She LOVES animals. She is a horrible eater. The only nutrition she gets is a half a gallon of milk a day. She likes to help out, such as carrying groceries for me. She hates nursery, unless someones in there with her. She loves Sadie, but she also hates when Sadie plays with anything thats hers. Whenever we leave, she must have sunglasses, purse, milk, binkie, and blankie. I can't forget anything, or I am paying for it on the drive. And, this girl can tan. I am very jealous. We go outside and I come in with a little red skin, and she comes in brown. She definitely gets that from Jake. Oh, and she is starting to tell me when she goes potty. Maybe she'll be an easy one to potty train...cross your finger:) Overall, Bailee brings a lot of laughter in our home with her spunky personality, and mood swings!

Adorable Sadie at 9 months!

This little girl is getting to be a big baby! As you can see, she is very happy and content. She has changed so much the past little while. She is crawling everywhere, including up the stairs...yikes! She just started pulling herself up. We learned that when she fell out of her crib not too long ago:) She has two teeth and two on the way. AND, she is finally sleep trained. She did so much better than I thought. She now sleeps longer, and takes nice long naps. If only I did this sooner. She is 21 lbs, and still loves to nurse a billion times a day. At least she is healthy, right! Overall, she is such a wonderful baby, and even better now that she can fall asleep on her own.
