The Kidlings

I have been really horrible at blogging lately...due to stress and being busy. We have done some fun things lately though. Last weekend Jake and I celebrated our 5th Anniversary in St. George. The weather was nice, and it was fun to get away. Here are just some random photos. The one with Sadie sleeping on the floor cracks me up because she is wearing cowboy boots with her pajamas. She was obsessed with them, and would have to wear them to bed. The one picture of Bailee is adorable because Jake took it. He takes the best pictures of our kids. The girls also like to get dressed up, and get their pictures taken on their toy chest. They are so funny!

Easter 2009

We had a really fun Easter this year, especially because the girls got so excited when they found and egg. They did not get much for Easter because I kept giving them their gifts throughout the month. How fun am I! I love the picture of the girls on the couch. I think they have such cute smiles. However, our family picture isn't the best because the were so distracted. Oh well, I am just happy to have one!

Disneyland 2009

This was such a fun vacation, and I am so glad we got to go with my whole family! The girls had such a good time, but were ready to come home when the vacation was over. While I got to go have lunch with the princesses, Jake got to go enjoy some golfing with the brother-in-laws. He had such a great time! I hope to make it back soon when the girls get a little older, and understand the concept of waiting in line to go on rides:) Until then, I will miss those delicious churros in Disneyland.

Having Fun!

The kids got to got swimming once, and had a blast. Our fun ended when Sadie pooped in her swim diaper, and it leaked out in the hot tub. Everyone immediately got out! And I couldn't help but post some pictures of Sadie with those sunglasses. People could not get enough of her cute face wearing them!

Lunch with the Princesses

This was the highlight of my whole vacation!! Thanks Mom and Dad!! Bailee absolutely loved every minute of it! She was in awe when she saw them. She kept saying to each princess "Wow, you are beautiful." Then she wanted to give them a kiss on the lips. It made me so happy to see how happy it was making her. I will remember that lunch forever. If only my sister Deb was their, it would have been even more perfect!

Fun with Family

I was so happy to go on a vacation with my whole family! I love all of them so much, that I never get sick of them:) I don't have pictures of everyone, but here are just a few. Bailee is so in love with cousin bobby. She always wanted him, or Aunt Stesie (Stephanie), or Nana.

Exhausted

By lunch, the girls were always exhausted. It is hard work having fun!

California Adventure Park

The girls loved California Adventure Park. There were so many fun rides and shows. The girls love Play house Disney live. They were dancing and new all the moves. They also loved watching the cheerleaders dance from high school musical! Just look at Sadie's face, that tells it all:) We got the kids those cute hats, and had their names engraved on the back...so cute! Bailee loved "Mickey House" and enjoyed meeting the characters in person. Sadie actually really loved the rides, especially ones that made me sick! She would laugh and laugh! Some of their favorite rides included Monsters Inc, It's a small world, riding in a little car, and going on the Merry Go Round. Rides they absolutely hated were Alice in Wonderland, and Toads Adventure. They screamed the whole time, and Bailee kept saying "Scary monster...I don't like this castle!"

Disneyland, here we come!

Getting ready for our first day at Disneyland! Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the girls on their first airplane ride. They did well, considering how little they are. Bailee kept saying "Wow, we are up high." Then there was this lady sitting behind her who was asleep. Well, Bailee apparently did not want her to sleep, so she stood up on her chair and said "Wake up!" She is funny:) The weather in California was perfect, which made everything that much better!

Sadie at 1 1/2

Sadie is also changing a ton. She has developed a spunky personality, and has a glare that is hilarious. She loves to read books, especially in Bailee's room. She loves to stand on a stool in the bathroom and pretend to brush her teeth. She has started to use a spoon. She loves to eat! She is still a mommas girl and always has to be near me. The words she now knows is "mama, dadda, papa, nana, mimi (binkie), more, thank you, please, again, bye bye, and NO! She is super cute, and has her dad's beautiful eyes. We love this baby!
