Exhausted

By lunch, the girls were always exhausted. It is hard work having fun!

California Adventure Park

The girls loved California Adventure Park. There were so many fun rides and shows. The girls love Play house Disney live. They were dancing and new all the moves. They also loved watching the cheerleaders dance from high school musical! Just look at Sadie's face, that tells it all:) We got the kids those cute hats, and had their names engraved on the back...so cute! Bailee loved "Mickey House" and enjoyed meeting the characters in person. Sadie actually really loved the rides, especially ones that made me sick! She would laugh and laugh! Some of their favorite rides included Monsters Inc, It's a small world, riding in a little car, and going on the Merry Go Round. Rides they absolutely hated were Alice in Wonderland, and Toads Adventure. They screamed the whole time, and Bailee kept saying "Scary monster...I don't like this castle!"

Disneyland, here we come!

Getting ready for our first day at Disneyland! Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of the girls on their first airplane ride. They did well, considering how little they are. Bailee kept saying "Wow, we are up high." Then there was this lady sitting behind her who was asleep. Well, Bailee apparently did not want her to sleep, so she stood up on her chair and said "Wake up!" She is funny:) The weather in California was perfect, which made everything that much better!

Sadie at 1 1/2

Sadie is also changing a ton. She has developed a spunky personality, and has a glare that is hilarious. She loves to read books, especially in Bailee's room. She loves to stand on a stool in the bathroom and pretend to brush her teeth. She has started to use a spoon. She loves to eat! She is still a mommas girl and always has to be near me. The words she now knows is "mama, dadda, papa, nana, mimi (binkie), more, thank you, please, again, bye bye, and NO! She is super cute, and has her dad's beautiful eyes. We love this baby!

Bailee at 2 1/2

As you can tell, Bailee is a child with a personality. She has changed a lot lately, and is very cute. She just went to Play House Disney last weekend, which she only enjoyed for a 1/2 hour. She grabbed the diaper bag and said "Lets go home." Maybe next year she will like it more. Also, that picture of her in that dress is from Christmas. Good thing I took that picture because she ripped it five minutes later. And that necklace she is wearing has a picture of Ariel on it. She loves her, and pretends to talk to her on the phone "Hey mom, its 'A hole" on the phone." I laughed so hard because she can't pronounce Ariel correctly." The only thing she likes to wear is dresses...every single day!! Her favorite thing to play is "dragon". She made it up, and requests that Jake and I be the dragon and chase her. She is talking so well, and says the most hilarious things. She is always saying "come on sis, lets play." She is also very polite, and thinks that if she says please a million times that we will give in and give her what she wants:) It works!! She is also very sweet to me. Everytime that I get ready (not very often) she looks at me and says "Beautiful mom...cute shirt!" "Where is your pajamas and glasses?" I love her, and am sad she is growing up so fast.
P.S I know some of you might notice, but in Bailee's close up, you will notice yellow stuff coming out of her ear. I can assure you it is not ear wax, it was from her ear infection draining and she would not let me touch it. I just don't want you to think I don't clean her ears:)

Backpacks!

The girls love these Dora backpacks! They carry them around all the time. Bailee likes to pretend she is going to school. She waves goodbye to me and Sadie "Bye mom, bye Sis." Then she laughs because she is only kidding:)

Some Winter Fun

The girls didn't go out much this year in the cold, but when they did, they had a lot of fun. I laughed so hard when I saw Sadie in her snow clothes. She reminded me of the little boy on the Christmas Story who would fall over in his snow clothes and have to have someone get him up. That was exactly Sadie. And Bailee does not like to smile for the camera these days. Silly child:)
